Tyler O’Brien | Attorney, Founder

I was raised in the rural community of Ritzville, Washington, where I played football, basketball, track & field, and golf, participated in the FFA, and spent my summers working at a local cattle ranch.

After high school, I attended Washington State University and involved myself in the community by becoming the President of the Interfraternity Council and the Director of Health and Safety for the Student Government. I graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and a Minor in Business Administration.

At Gonzaga University School of Law, I volunteered for the Moderate Means Program, helping pair community members in need of legal assistance with attorneys willing to assist them at discounted rates. In my final year of law school, I worked as a law clerk for a business litigation firm based out of Spokane, Washington, drafting all manner of documents related to business transactions and litigation.

In January of 2022, after two-and-a-half years at Gonzaga, I graduated cum lade and sat for the Uniform Bar Exam in Washington State. Almost immediately after receiving my passing score and being admitted to practice in Washington, I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area so my then-fiance, now-wife, could pursue her dream job as a chemical engineering consultant. I took the California Bar Exam in July of 2022, passed and was admitted to practice law in the State of California in November of 2022. I became licensed to practice law in Texas in June of 2024. I currently serve as the Young Lawyer Liason to the Washington State Bar Association’s Solo & Small Practice Section and stay active with the broader legal community through LinkedIn.

Outside of the legal world, I am a hunter, backpacker, marathoner, spartan racer, brewer, dog lover, watersport enthusiast, and aspiring triathlete.
