Sweepstakes Rules:

1. Sweepstakes: The Longhair Lawyer occasionally hosts social media giveaways which are generally considered “Sweepstakes” under applicable state law. These sweepstakes are not intended to and do not constitute a “lottery” under applicable state law.

2. Alternative Means of Entry (AMOE): While a chance to win a free product may be granted through an action, such as liking, commenting on, or sharing a social media post, no such act is required. As an AMOE, any individual who is eligible to participate under these Sweepstakes Rules may enter by sending an email to store@longhair.lawyer with (1) that individual’s first and last name; (2) the name of the social media platform they found the sweepstakes on; and (3) that individual’s address. The entrant’s email address, name, and address will not be used for any purpose outside of the Sweepstakes.

3. Eligibility: Only U.S. residents (the 50 states and Washington DC) over the age of 18 are eligible to enter (Apologies to those followers who hail from or live in other nations - the logistics of an international sweepstakes are too complicated for The Longhair Lawyer to engage in at this time).

4. Start and End Dates: Start and End Dates are as specified in the social media post(s).

5. Limitation on Entry: Each individual may only enter one time per post. Liking, commenting, sharing, or sending multiple AMOE entries for the same post will not increase an entrance’s chance of winning.

6. Odds of Winning: All individuals who enter have an equal chance of winning. This includes those who use AMOE.

7. Selection of Winners: Winners are selected at random.

8. No Purchase Necessary: A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

9. Notification of Winning: Winners will be notified via the same medium through which they entered the Sweepstakes. If a winner does not respond within 3 days, a new winner will be selected and the previous winner loses all claim to the prize.

10. No other notification: Non-winners will receive no notification that they lost. No confirmation of entry will be provided to anyone, whether they enter by engaging with a post or use an AMOE.

11. No Attorney/Client Relationship: Entering or winning a Sweepstakes does not create an attorney/client relationship between you and The Longhair Lawyer. The Longhair Lawyer does not offer legal services of any kind as part of a Sweepstakes. Entering or winning a Sweepstakes cannot create a conflict of interest in The Longhair Lawyer’s representation of a third party against you. In the simplest terms possible, entering a Sweepstakes will not prevent The Longhair Lawyer from representing someone else in a lawsuit against you.
